The gardens of the private clinic in Hollenburg are freely accessible to everyone. Despite the area’s merits (view of Göttweig) and the nearby hiking trails, the gardens are used only by clients and their visitors. The clinic’s existing infrastructure could contribute to supporting increased tourism in the area. There are a publicly accessible café-restaurant and toilets. The reception area could be used as information point.
The qualities of the area should in future be valued both for the clinic and for tourist purposes. Special attention must be paid to thematic content and to visitor management to enable undisturbed use of the area by clients and guests. The required spatial and touristic requirements should be defined in a master plan in collaboration with external experts.
